So we can probably all agree that in one way or another, 2020 has been pretty rough on everybody. We are in the midst of a pandemic, preparing to vote for a new president in the hopes of turning things around, and just about everybody is feeling a bit stir crazy. But there is always a light in foggy, frustrating times. For the women on this list, the light comes in the form of a new baby, and for some, a first child. They’ve done the big announcements accompanied by the fancy photo shoots and videos, and there have been so many of these over the last few months, you might have forgotten who all is waiting for their bundle of joy. However some of your favorites spilled the beans this year, some are now much further along than others and waiting to deliver while others are just starting to see their bumps pop. Nicki Minaj
After plenty of speculation and the rapper dropping hints and hopes for some time that she was with or wanted to be with child, her dream has come true. She announced to fans in July in a very Barbie way, through some colorful maternity shots, that she and husband Kenneth Petty are expecting. It will be the first child for both parties.
“Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude,” she wrote on Instagram. “Thank you all for the well wishes.”

Zonnique
She may always be Tiny’s baby, but Zonnique Pullins is expecting her own baby very soon. The singer and reality star announced that she is pregnant with her first child with boyfriend, rapper Badhunta Izzy, earlier this month. This will be her first child and Badhunta’s third. She is five months along and having a girl. She says her mom has been just as amped about the new addition as she is.
“My mom has been so excited with me,” she said. “She has sent me pictures of babies every day.”

Keyshia Ka’oir
Rapper Gucci Mane and his wife, entrepreneur Keyshia Ka’oir, are expecting their first child together. This will be the second child for Gucci, and the fourth for the beauty. She shared the news with a provocative message on Instagram a few days ago.
“I ain’t athletic but on @laflare1017 D I did gymnastics,” she wrote.

Chrissy Teigen
The model and foodie broke the news that she is expecting her third child with husband John Legend after she was seen cradling her bump in the video for his single, “Wild.”
While the couple’s first two children were conceived through IVF, the third time was the charm and happened naturally.
“But what they say so often can be true,” she said. “When you give up on trying, life has a way of surprising you.”

Teyana Taylor
The singer is expecting her second child, and second daughter with husband Iman Shumpert after revealing her bump in her “Wake Up Love” video. However, Teyana’s daughter Junie almost broke the news in advance. Back in May, while the star was doing an Instagram Live, Junie interrupted to say, “Mama, let me kiss that baby,” which Teyana had to play crazy about.

The singer, chef and trendsetter surprised everyone when she revealed that she is expecting her third child, and her second with husband Mike Mora. She shared the news by giving fans a look at her pregnancy test.
“Chef Kelis – table for 5 please. We’re adding one more!” she wrote on Instagram earlier this month.

The DJ and former Basketball Wives star revealed in July that she’s expecting her second child, and her first with fiance and NBA agent Iman Shokuohizadeh.
“Guess what?! Iv [sic] been hiding a secret from you guys! The world has been really crazy the last couple of months and I didn’t want to be constantly throwing my happiness in ur [sic] faces during these difficult times… but I can’t hide my joy any longer.. The singer, actress and reality star, who just welcomed her daughter in January 2019, announced that she is pregnant again in March. It will be the third child, and first boy, for husband Tommicus Walker.

On Monday, the former reality star and podcaster announced that she is expecting a baby girl with her husband after losing her previous pregnancy last year. She is five months now and broke the news to PEOPLE.
“I’m so overwhelmed with joy that it’s a challenge even finding the words to express how thankful I am,” she told the publication.

The DJ, socialite, fitness lover and influencer revealed in July that she and husband Brandon Fallis were expecting their first child together after quite the complicated journey. The couple were able to conceive with the help of IVF.
