MadameNoire is the leading lifestyle website for Black women with more than 4 million unique visitors per month (comScore). MadameNoire launched in 2010, to serve as a daily source of news and inspiration for smart, stylish Black women. The site’s mission is to empower women of color with engaging content that covers everything from health, fashion and beauty to career, parenting, entertainment and breaking news.

Ida Harros

Ida Harris is the managing editor of MadameNoire.com. She curates + oversees MadameNoire’s day-to-day editorial operations. She writes all things at the intersection of Blackness + womanhood. Ida is currently adapting her essay The Ethics of Living #Me Too In A World of Bill Cosbys and Phylicia Rashads into a collection of essays. She is a child of Hip Hop.

Veronica Wells | Culture Editor

Veronica Wells

Veronica Wells-Puoane is the culture editor at MadameNoire.com. She is the author of “Bettah Days” and You’ll Be All Write, a Q&A  journal for Black women. Veronica is also the creator of the website NoSugarNoCreamMag.

Tanay Hudson | Senior Writer

Tanay Hudson

Tanay hails from Queens, New York. ​She’s a proud HBCU graduate who doubles as a journalist and a psychotherapist. She’s received her Bachelors in Sociology from Norfolk State University, her Master of Social Work degree from New York University and her Master of Journalism degree from Hofstra University. When she’s not working, she’s riding her Peloton or enjoying the sounds of Kendrick Lamar, Nas or Mary J. Blige.  She’s previously been published in VIBE, AllHipHop, BET, Heavy and Billboard.
