We hate to see lengthy marriages end. NFL Hall of Famer Emmett Smith and Pat Smith (or Southall) announced in August that they were calling it quits. The couple married in 2000 and had three children together.
“We will continue to move forward with love and compassion for one another, as co-parents and friends,” they said of the split in a statement. “We will work together in the best interests of our children, our family, community and businesses.”
