Jennifer Lopez May Not Get Married At All After COVID Ruins Wedding Plans: “At Our Age, We’ve Both Been Married Before”

Prior to her marriage to worship leader Israel Houghton, Adrienne Houghton (formerly Adrienne Bailon) was engaged to marry her longtime boyfriend, music executive Lenny Santiago. The daytime TV host called off her engagement after just seven months. She later explained that she should have never accepted the proposal in the first place.

“I wish I knew, back when I said yes to my first engagement, that the ring wasn’t going to make me feel like what I had gone through made me feel like I won,” Houghton confessed during an episode of “The Real.” “When you’ve been in a relationship for a long time—and I’ve spoken about it. I wasn’t paraded on social media. I didn’t get the love, attention or affection that I thought I deserved. Even though by that time, we both knew it was over. I felt like the ring made me feel like the years I put into it, at least I had something to show for it. I got asked and that was enough for me.”
