The Whispers
Twin brothers Walter and Wallace Scott formed the R&B group The Whispers along with three other members in the early 60’s. Churning out hit after hit, the group may be best remembered for “And The Beat Goes On” and “Rock Steady.” In 2003, The Whispers were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame and several years later they were once again honored for their body of work with the prestigious Pioneer Award from the Rhythm and Blues Foundation.
