Before Raphael Saadiq started producing hits for other musicians like D’Angelo, Total, and The Roots, he was making hits with a couple members of his family as Tony! Toni! Tone! The three-member group known for hits like “Feels Good” and “It Never Rains In Southern California” originally consisted of Saadiq, his brother Dwayne Wiggins and their cousin Timothy Christian Riley, but eventually Saadiq left the group to pursue a solo career and changed his name from Charles Ray Wiggins because he wanted an identity of his own.
