The Marleys
Bob Marley was a legendary musician who emerged from Jamaica to become one of the biggest reggae artists in the world. Before he passed away in 1981, he passed down his musical abilities to his children. Ziggy, Sharon, Cedella and Stephen Marley formed Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers in 1979 and released over ten albums together while touring the world. Ziggy was also a solo artist and his sophomore album won a Grammy for Best Reggae Album. Stephen dropped his own solo project while the youngest Bob Marley son Damien “Jr. Gong” has been performing since he was 13 years old.
