Singer Seal certainly has a distinct singing voice but he also has distinct scars on his face. The “Kiss From A Rose” singer suffered from discoid lupus erythematosus (DLE) as a teenager, which left scars on his face and scalp. DLE is a chronic skin condition with sores that cause scarring on the face, ears, scalp and neck. In an interview, Seal confessed he initially had a hard time dealing with the scars: “I got really depressed about [the scars] at first, as you can understand. Now I really like them. If I could design something, I don’t think I could do it better.”
