Tina Fey’s “30 Rock” character Liz Lemon prefers the right side of her face because the actress that plays her suffered from an injury when she was younger and now has a permanent scar. The faint scar on Tina Fey’s face runs from her cheek to under her mouth and is a result of a childhood slashing when a very young Fey was approached by someone who left what she thought was a pen mark across her face and turned out to be much worse. Understandably, the funny woman doesn’t like to talk about incident. ”It’s a childhood injury that was kind of grim,” Fey has said. “And it kind of bums my parents out for me to talk about it.”
