And while Black women couldn’t wait for Wednesday’s inauguration, there were many other Harris supporters of all backgrounds who were glad to see history be made. In this image, residents of Harris’s ancestral village in India, Thulasendrapuram, came together to watch one of their own become the vice president of the United States.
