Take an interest in his interest
So, do you have to share interests with your partner? If everything else is there except for common interests, maybe these stats and figures have shown you that it’s worth taking an interest in a partner’s hobbies, even if you aren’t naturally drawn to them. You don’t need to go camping/wine tasting/dog walking with him every single time he does it, but you probably shouldn’t sit it out every single time, either. It’s easy to say, “You do your thing and I’ll do mine,” but if your thing and his are very different, and you make that choice every time, you won’t wind up spending much time together.
