Travel comes in as the second most noted passion on Tinder profiles, and research has found that couples who travel together report more feelings of romance in their relationships. They also report better sex lives than the hermit couples, and would rather go on a trip than take gifts like jewelry or other treasures from their partner. A love of travel can signify traits like being adventurous, being curious about other cultures, a willingness to leave one’s comfort zone, adaptability, and the ability to compromise. Between hotel rooms that are smaller than advertised and back to back redeye flights, travel (at least budget travel) certainly isn’t built for rigid, high maintenance individuals.
