Tennis great Martina Navratilova enjoyed a stellar career on the court. Off the court, the Czech native publicly came out of the closet in 1981. Navratilova was in a long-term relationship with Toni Layton for 10 years before their relationship abruptly ended. Layton, who left her husband for Navratilova, was kicked out of their Florida home after the tennis star changed the locks. Initially, Navratilova offered her ex $200,000 but after Layton threatened to start revealing some of the skeletons buried in Navratilova’s closet, she ended up walking away with $2.8 million.
