Roseanne Barr didn’t follow her dreams of becoming a comedian and television star until she was in her 30’s. By the time she married fellow comic Tom Arnold in 1990, Barr was a household name with her own sitcom. Barr fired her lawyers after they suggested the happy couple sign a prenup, which turned out to be a very costly lesson for the former talk show host to learn. Four years later, the couple was no longer happy and they split up. Arnold reportedly walked away from the marriage $50 million richer than when he said, “I do,” but he claims he didn’t take a dime.
