Some celebrities don’t need a Twitter account.

After “Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta” premiered on Monday, many people were saying female cast member Joseline Hernandez was actually a man, and in a futile attempt to dispel those rumors via Twitter, Joseline (@MsJoseline) tweeted a naked picture of herself.

You can’t make this stuff up.

The Urban Daily says the rumors started when Blogger Sandra Rose reported on the allegations a week before the show even aired. Rose posted an anonymous letter, which read:

“I have solid proof that “Joseline Hernandez” of ‘Love Hip Hop Atlanta’ was born a man. “Joe” and I went to the same high school. Attached is a photo scan of his HS yearbook picture before the surgeries. (Please don’t publish his pic!) I was close to him in high school. Here is my contact info. Let’s talk.”

After the show aired, the rumors of the rapper being a drag queen escalated. This feedback was compounded by the many people criticizing her “relationship” with producer Stevie J. Uninterested in the high road, Josaline tweeted:

“[Eff] u haters. I’m still gona get payed for ever. I’m an artist [eff] what y’all say. I’m international baby u bums ain’t got a passport.”

“[Eff] u bums that’s hating. All of u work for me lol. Keep on working do your job n sit on this [stuff] all day making me famous.”

“I am 100% women I’m clearly perfect cause that’s the only thing ya’ll can say Sence I air my dirty laundry on tv. [Eff] ya’ll HATERS”

The reality television show star eventually deleted the naked picture of herself and has stopped addressing the naysayers via Twitter…for now.

Perhaps Joseline changed her tune when she realized that whether people believe she is a man or not, her new gig is definitely a hit. VH1 announced today that the network won Monday Night as the #1 Cable Network in the Women 18-49 Demo with the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” Series Premiere and a new episode of “Single Ladies”. The premiere episode of LHHA attracted 3.6 million total viewers.

Looks like we may be stuck with this foolishness for a while and if Joseline felt the need to publicize a naked picture of herself after spending a mere hour on television, who knows what’s in store for this season.

What do you think? Did Joseline’s picture help dispel the “drag queen” rumors?
