Booking an employee a $400 plane ticket and $600 hotel stay all to meet with clients or partners across the country or world seems pretty silly now that companies just, well, haven’t had to do so and things still moved forward. It turns out that you can sweet-talk a potential client over Zoom, and that costs a lot less than domestic or international travel. It also means that traditionally traveling professionals can spend more time with their families.
