As for this interracial couple, it’s a very special one considering that Pastor Cal told us that white women who participate in the show don’t mind dating outside of their race, but tend to only want to marry white.
“I would love to see an interracial couple. We tried every season to do that. It’s very difficult because when it comes to Black men and white women, we can find Black men who want white women. We can’t find as many white women who want Black men,” he told us. “We have all these guys, I mean I’ve heard guys and I think you’ve seen them on previous seasons, guys who said, hey, you know, ‘I prefer white women.’ Then my thing is, white women don’t prefer you. And so that’s a problem with the Black man-white woman scenario. I’m not saying that across the board. Just in the cases that I’ve seen, that may be it.”
