Halle and singer Eric Benet, her second husband, were married from 2001 to 2005. After she won her Oscar for Monster’s Ball, a career high, her marriage fall apart, reportedly due to Benet having a sex addiction. He underwent treatment for it, but the couple still separated, initially calling it quits in 2003.
