“Why do I love black women?For one, I came from a Black Woman, my Mother and I love her. My entire experience and understanding of true love comes from her first.I love a Black Woman’s resilience, her commitment, and determination. Her ability to not only shoulder her burdens, but the burdens of all of her family and society, because of all of that, Black Women throughout the existence of humankind have proven themselves to be the strongest group of people on this Earth. I am what I am today because of a strong Black Woman, all of my progress and success in my life has been because of the sacrifices of a Black Woman. So the very least I can do is return that same amount of love and energy back into my own people, and that’s to give it to a Black Woman.”
