She Started Dropping Clues That He Broke Her Heart with Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart
In a trailer for her album, Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart, she talked about the pain of the heartbreak that inspired the whole thing, including hit song “Maybe I Should Call.”
2014: “I remember asking somebody was I gon’ die! I said, ‘Am I gon’ die? Is this gon’ get better? Is this gon’ ever feel better for me?’ You just feel used. You feel like time wasted. You feel like, ‘What was wrong with me?’ Yeah, you go through all those emotions.”
