Why hasn’t Leonardo DiCaprio ever tied the knot? It might be because he’s never found anyone to live up to his mother, Irmelin DiCaprio. According to DiCaprio:
“To have a woman like [my mother] in your life, who is strong, who’ll be honest with you about who you are … that’s something I treasure. And it’s something I look for in a woman.
I wouldn’t be doing any of this if it weren’t for her. She supported this little kid who said, ‘I want to be an actor,’ at 12 years old, which is ridiculous, and she drove me to all these auditions. She’s the only reason I’m able to do what I do.”
