In one of the worst kept secrets of young Hollywood love, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart denied they were an item for years. It wasn’t until after Stewart was caught red-handed in an extramarital affair with the older and very married Rupert Sanders and photos leaked of the two making out that Stewart acknowledged her relationship with her Twilight co-star. Stewart released a public apology to Pattinson, calling him the most important thing in her life, and although they reconciled and tried to make the relationship work, the couple soon split for good.
