Janet Hubert and Will Smith on the Fresh Prince Of Bell Air
Time doesn’t heal old wounds in this case. Janet Hubert, known for her role as Aunt Viv on the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, is still steaming mad 15 years after the last show aired. She vows never to attend a reunion dinner, blaming Will Smith for being fired mid-season. She claims she was let go because she wouldn’t “kiss his butt.” Will Smith counters, saying it was her own attitude that led to her getting the axe,” especially saying things like, “I’ve been in the business for 10 years. and this snotty nosed punk comes along and gets a show.”
