SJP and Kim Cattrall are known for giving one another the cold, yet civil shoulder on set. It’s reported that the two have had their differences since Season 2. When SJP became a producer, Cattrall became a bit bitter about her control over the script. She often placed Cattrall’s Samantha character into unflattering predicaments involving her age, like growing fat, celebrating her 50th birthday and breaking off the relationship with her younger, hottie boo. It seems there’s this calm, yet raging war over who’s growing old gracefully. Cattrall hands down has my vote.
