Remember Chico DeBarge? Kind of, a little bit…not at all? Well the quick recap is that he is one of the “younger” members of the Debarge family and had marginal success in the late 90s with an album after he was released from prison. Anyway, according to TMZ, he and his wife are getting divorced after 15 years of marriage citing irreconcilable differences. They’ve actually been separated since 2005 so who knows what took them so long to make it to divorce court. But here’s the thing: they have four kids and he’s only asking for visitation.  He doesn’t want any type of custody of the children. *side eye*  According to the papers that TMZ obtained, he’s asking for paternity tests for at least two of the children, likely the two oldest. Now this is some foolishness. You’ve been with this woman for years and NOW you want to find out if you’re really the father of the children?  These kids have known you as their father their entire lives and now you want to rock their worlds by questioning paternity in an attempt…to avoid child support?  Wow, Chico. These DeBarges get better and better, huh?
