Another trendsetting look, Tyson, pictured here with Louis Gossett Jr., and Maria Conchita Alonso, sported what looked like early loc extensions. They framed her face beautifully as she stepped out for the 1st Annual Minority Motion Picture Awards in 1993. When I wore a look like this back in 2010 to create faux locs, the hair used was the same exact texture and look as the hairstyle Tyson sported here, way back when I was a preschooler.
