Is Condola trying to trap Lawrence?

“Insecure” fans went from liking Condola as a friend for Issa to viewing her as the enemy of happiness. I saw people calling her manipulative and claiming she’s trying to trap Lawrence all because they both participated in an activity known to produce children. A lot of women too, which makes me wonder if y’all be serious when you say a woman should have autonomy over her own body.

I will admit that it’s strange that Condola wants to have a child with a man she didn’t even want to invite to Friendsgiving, especially after she had a whole husband. But when a woman wants a child, the circumstances don’t always matter enough for her not to keep it.

If anything, Lawrence should have been more careful. He knew that Condola wasn’t taking him that seriously. He knew that he still had feelings for Issa, and he knew that his job was going to take him away from the city. If anything, he trapped himself.
