Rucker Roots creators Ellen and Ione have been making products for themselves since the 1980s. With their long appreciation of natural products, they wanted to not only make them for their daughters but other women of color who are looking for the right tools to help them appreciate their natural hair. Since first starting their brand in 2015, it has come a long way and they most recently launched their Restorative Edge Control, made with avocado, castor and olive oil.
