Most important lesson you’ve learned about work?
It’s helpful to watch a man connect the dots and turn experiences into lessons. Maybe, when he was younger, he got angry over not getting enough credit for a job well done as an assistant, sent an angry email to his boss, and lost his job. From that did he learn…to remember where you stand and how much leverage you really have? To pay his dues? To exhibit more patience? To think about the end game? Or…did he learn that boss’ are stupid a*&holes? (Hint: if it’s something like the latter, he isn’t very mature).
