There are few things more expensive and a life-changing as medical bills. Not many people can pay for medical expenses on their own, even when they have insurance, so your man should automatically be willing to help you ease the financial burden.
Perhaps he could chip in by paying a portion of what your insurance doesn’t cover or paying all of the difference, it just depends on his financial situation. Regardless, the health of his partner should be enough reason for him to want to help in any way he can, even financially.
