Like an engagement ring, a wedding is expensive and if you and your man have a clear vision of the type of ceremony you want, then he should be more than willing to open up his wallet and fork over the cash to make it happen.
If he has an endless bank account and insists on paying for the whole wedding himself that’s fine, however most couples need a little financial help. This means that if you know your man is literally emptying his account to make things happen, feel free to offer some financial assistance without hurting his feelings.
