Depending on the dynamics of your relationship, some men are perfectly fine (and even insist) on paying the rent/mortgage all by themselves. especially if they are more traditional in their beliefs. However, as women become more independent by the day, these relationship rules may not work for everyone.
While you may be fully capable of paying for all the rent/mortgage on your own, if you man is living in the home with you, he should not only be expected to pay half, he should actually want to. This is one of the biggest household bills, so it’s not farfetched to ask all occupants to contribute.
