In today’s modern age, more women than ever are not only proposing to their men, but they are also buying their own engagement rings…or at least contributing a considerable financial figure. If you’re not down with that, you shouldn’t feel bad at all that you expect your man to pay for your engagement ring, after all it is tradition.
Whether your boo saves up for months or years to buy you the ring that he knows you’ll love forever, let him do what’s in his heart. Surely, he knows before he proposes that an engagement ring is an investment that can come with a hefty price-tag, so don’t try to intercept and talk him down to something cheaper if that’s not what he wants to do.
