Good Luck With That Traci Lynn: Tiki Barber Remarries

It’s one thing to marry a man who you got with while he was still married to someone else. It’s another to walk down the aisle with a guy like Tiki Barber who left his wife of 11 years while she was pregnant with their twins. But former NBC intern Traci Lynn Johnson is taking her chances. The 25-year-old who also babysat Tiki and his former wife Ginny Cha’s kids while supposedly sleeping with the former football star has managed to accept the pro putting a ring on it, and yesterday the two got married in New York City.

The 37-year-old tweeted the news yesterday: ”Many thanks to the NYC Clerk’s office, especially James Mitchell who married me to my love Traci Lynn Johnson! Excited for the next chapters . . .” His now wife followed that up with a photo of their rings, tweeting: ”We’re married Tiki Barber!”

Lots of side-eyes are being given to this union considering how it began while he was still married to someone else, even though they both denied any extramarital affair back in 2010 when the reports first surfaced. Tiki told Entertainment Tonight:

“We were only friends when I was still married. I was separated, out of my house so it wasn’t until then that we took things to the next level.”

Traci said the same:

“Tiki and I were romantically involved when he was separated, and plenty of people who are separated have boyfriends and girlfriends.”

That doesn’t mean it’s a good idea and it’s still suspect that Traci went from babysitter/intern to wife. Yeah, I’m not buying their story. She better keep her eyes open if she decides to have any kids with this man.

    Karma is written in the books for. If the first wife didn’t take him for all he’s got, whenever she choose to diorce, leave, dodge etc. I hope she clears that bank account. In return for her, I’d burn her babysitter/intern resume on sight!

    I guess he had to lock her down while she is still young, dum and full of c… For him she is probably the best trophy he can get. Months back he pulled the “I don’t want to live anymore” line and now she probably feels sorry for him, but it is all apart of the old loser game that guys run on young girls to manipulate them. Tiki will never have the fame and $ that he once had again. When she realizes it ain’t easy being a 25 year old stepmom to 4 and having to actually work to support the household she’ll move on.     Usually I try to reserve judgement because no one really knows what’s going on in a couple’s marriage, BUT, in this case, nothing good is going to come from the union of these two.

    Tiki, better work out hard to try to get on somebody’s nfl team. She will clean him out. He is going to be ignorant enough to have a child with her and she will really take him to the cleaners and I won’t feel sorry for him. I don’t buy their story either.

    This will never work out for them because she inserted herself into someone else’s marriage what goes around comes around what he did too his first wife will come back on both of them I will give them a year before trouble starts.What he did too his first wife with you he will then do that same thing (too you) it never fails

    Separated or not, it’s tacky as hail to be messing around with someone while your WIFE is PREGNANT. Maybe she’s trying to launch a modeling career or some ish, cause I don’t see why a 25 year old with no baggage would want to inherit a family. They are both foolery, perfect for each other.

        I think the ballers get a pension. He may be getting a pension. Not for sure if she is entitled to 50% of it. But, he will give it to her with a huge smile on his face.
