For the record, Gina Neely, and those who knew her relationship, made it clear that before the hit Food Network show Down Home With the Neelys, there was marital trouble. However, the pressures of having a hit TV show seemed to make things worse, and like the El Moussas, it pushed the pair even further apart, which was ok with Gina.
“We went to therapy 12 times,” she said. “I tried to leave five times and I just didn’t have the strength but the fifth time I held on to that. It became necessary for me to find my path.”
