“I think we could be good together”
It sounds like he means good together as a couple, and that’s what he hopes you hear. But what he really means is good together in bed. Of course, you’re not going to ask him to specify, and he knows it. So later, when you’re yelling at him for not calling after he said you’d be good together he can say, “And we were. For a night.”
