The man who offers to sit with you so that other men won’t hit on you seems so thoughtful and considerate. How chivalrous, right? Oh, and he’s offering to buy you drinks, so that it looks to other men like you’re on a date, so they won’t bother you. My, my. He’s quite committed to this bit. Oh, and now he’s trying to make out with you, to keep other men from bothering you. How selfless of him.
