They “admire” you and your best friend’s friendship
Aaw. A guy who can appreciate a close friendship is so sweet! And this guy has been raving about how you and your girlfriend, who you came to the bar with, just seem so connected. He thinks you guys have awesome banter. He says it’s so fun to watch such good friends interact and that he wishes he had a best friend like that. You know what this guy just did? He disarmed your protector (your friend). He’s flattering your friend, too, so she won’t tell you not to go home with him.
