Ha! And you thought this was going to be a negative story didn’t you? Well it kind of is, but it steers towards the positive. Promise.

I’ve noticed that there are so many people in Hollywood now trying to sing, dance, act and more, when in reality, they have no business doing it. In fact their “talents” could be of better use in some other field. And maybe it’s the hundreds of pounds of makeup their teams throw on them, and the stylists they pay big money to help them keep their wigs on straight, but I always look at the following women and think, while they are not the best at their chosen craft, they’re pretty enough to be successful at something else: modeling. Take a look yourself and see if you agree…

Seriously, what does this chick do anymore? Last time I checked, she used to be a singer who claimed she could dance too, and then next thing I know, she’s allegedly the arm candy for Diddy. Nowadays, I only see her and her half-shaven head posing for photoshoots, walking in fashion shows, being a face for ck one, and hosting parties all over, and that’s what she seems comfortable and best at. Therefore, that’s what she should stick to. No more singing please, just work that face. Let’s be real, this girl’s voice was thinner then some over-processed hair, and it’s her looks that are strongest. So I say, work it honey!

After her big falling out with Jive Records because of their lack of support of her work (aka, funding) and those last two snore albums, I wouldn’t be mad at Ciara if she wanted to try something outside of music. Modeling just happens to be the perfect idea. She’s tall and statuesque, very toned and slim, and she’s got a pretty face (just stay away from those cornrow braids! Yikes!). Once a muse for luxury label Givenchy, and after parading in front of the cameras for Paris Fashion Week recently, modeling would be an easy transition.

It’s this gal’s looks and sexuality that are pushing her ahead in the music industry, because that voice is nowhere near out of this world. And a lot of people are fans of her face, because homegirl has had many, many endorsements, including high profile ones with CoverGirl, Armani Jeans, Clinique, Nivea, and Gucci. She’s definitely got a look all her own, and would fit right in with the models, because she clearly doesn’t mind showing a lot of skin.

Tika Sumpter

The “It-girl” right now, Sumpter has been EVERYWHERE. And when I say everywhere, I mean everywhere. That’s not necessarily a bad thing though, because she’s getting her face out there, and we can’t hate, it’s a pretty one. Guest starring on shows like Gossip Girl and The Game as well as playing the love interest of singer Jason Derulo in his “It Girl” video all just this year, AND with plans to star in the Sparkle remake, this chick is clearly a busy woman. We just happen to think that she has a fresh face and unique look that would also be good for some endorsements (outside of perm endorsements, please). Do you agree?

Keri Hilson

Oh Miss Keri Baby…this has been an interesting year for her. After shedding her around the way girl look to appear risque, only to less than stellar results, we think modeling would be a good option for the songwriter and singer. She’s another tall one, and very slim thanks to years of getting it in on the basketball court and in the swimming pools, and she has a pretty good face (and set of eyes) to do some enchanting work on a runway. But hey, that’s just my opinion.

Teairra Marí

Once signed to Def Jam after working with Jay-Z around the same time that Rihanna got her start, it was pretty clear that Mari wouldn’t get as much love and success for her music as the Barbados-born chick. After disappointing sales of her first album, homegirl was dropped from her contract while trying to pump out a second album. Since then, she’s become a mixtape queen, popped out controversial singles looking for a “Sponsor” and played the sex pot in the movie Lottery Ticket. It’s a shame though, because Mari is a beautiful young woman with a very pretty face that is worthy of some type of tasteful endorsement or two. If she would only stop busting splits and sending topless TwitPics in this piece, a lot of other people would take notice of her for the right reasons…

Lauren London

Ever since she had her son with Lil Wayne and I saw her less and less in films (and it’s not because of the baby, trust), I’ve had the feeling her career is not going the route she was hoping. But with her cat eyes and dimples, London could be a gorgeous model. She’s already been a spokesmodel for Sean John alongside Cassie back in 2007 (how did that women’s collection go by the way?), and showed off her looks as a video girl in shorts for Pharrell, Common and Ne-Yo. But I think her look could go further than that. What about you?

Any ladies you would add to the list?
