I’ve personally had a small crush on this big ‘ol teddy bear since “American Idol” days. His smile immediately makes you smile, and of course, that velvety rich voice that used to belt out Luther Vandross’ songs without hesitation gave him some extra cool points. But don’t get too excited or used to seeing the big Ruben for ever. Last year, homeboy lost around 80 pounds! But whatever, he’ll always be known to us as the “velvet teddy bear.”
