Nolte has fallen off the wagon quite a few times after trying his hand at rehabilitation. His addiction started in the 1990s and in 2002, he was arrested in a DUI, which produced an infamous mugshot. He got three years probation. He suffered similar fates in 2005 and again in 2008. Not much is known about his drinking these days, but maybe, that’s a good thing.
