Perhaps one of the greatest filmmakers of his time, Woody Allen’s long body of work may forever be overshadowed by his third marriage. Allen was in a monogamous relationship with actress Mia Farrow for 10 years when, at the age of 57, he began to lose interest in Farrow and started seeing her adopted daughter, Soon Yi, who was barely 20 at the time. Undeterred by the age gap, Allen spoke about his love for the much younger woman. “The heart wants what it wants. There’s no logic to those things. You meet someone and you fall in love, and that’s that.” They have two adopted daughters together and have been married since 1997.
