Tyrese Posts Strangely Sexualized Photo Of A Giraffe On Instagram

Once again, Tyrese is reminding folks that he is one strange bird.

The often unusual star posted a photo of a giraffe throating a metal pole on his Instagram Stories with a caption that read, “I need to get on the first flight to Africa ASAP!” a screen grab was shared by instagram user @whoisshe2u then reshared by OnSite!

While MADAMENOIRE mostly assumes the Fast & Furious actor was just making a joke about the giraffe’s apparent throat game — and that he’s not actually into bestiality — Tyrese has proven time and time again that his humor, lack of boundaries and appropriateness are questionable, to say the least.

3. Shaving His Girlfriend’s Pubic Hair… On Instagram

Tyrese and girlfriend Zelie Timothy went viral when an Instagram clip of Zelie with her legs in the air and Tyrese talking through his process of shaving her privates had the internet in a chokehold. The two only announced that they were an item the month before the video went viral.

While we don’t have anything against a man shaving his girlfriend — if they’re so inclined — was it really necessary for them to share that moment of their lives with the world?

5. Tyrese Posted A Semi-Nude Clip Of Zelie Timothy To Announce Their Split

The Fast & Furious star had to make things weird — and leave us very confused — when he announced that he and Zelie called it quits. In September 2021, he posted a video on Instagram of him walking in on Zelie butt naked and covered in bubbles in the bathtub with the caption:

“We had so much potential. We really did… I wish you well, ending on a good note is a good thing….. [ link in the bio ] I will forever love you @zelietimothy cheers to you!!”

6. He claimed He Was “Broke” Because His Ex-Wife Ruined His Life

In 2018, Tyrese claimed in court documents that he was broke and only making $51,000 a month, when he was previously racking in $180,000 monthly. He blamed the loss in income on his ex-wife Norma Gibson, who at one point alleged that Tyrese was domestically abusive while they were together. According to Tyrese, the allegations left him “unable to find work in the entertainment field.”

7. For Reasons, He Was Dubbed “Cryrese”

Don’t get it twisted — folks felt bad when Tyrese was in tears on Instagram and crying over the custody battle drama he was facing with his ex-wife Norma. But could he not have taken those emotions to therapy? Did he have to call out Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for (allegedly) using steroids in the midst of his series of emotional breakdowns…? Or talk about The Rock’s daughters?

8. Tyrese’s Misogynoir Was On Full View When He shared A Message For “Promiscuous Women” on BET

Back in 2017, Tyrese shared that he and his estranged wife Samantha had abstained from sex for 60 days. Clearly feeling better than the rest of us lowly “hoes” (his words not ours) after of his sex-fast, Tyrese ranted about “promiscuous women” on BET. It was a mess. Black Twitter wasn’t having it.

9. He Ranted On Kirk and Tammy Franklin’s Anniversary Post In An Attempt To Win  Back His Wife

Beneath a celebratory post Tammy Franklin shared in honor of her and Kirk’s 25th wedding anniversary earlier this year, Tyrese went in the comments made it about his failing marriage. He wrote:

“Happy Happy Happy Anniversary!!!!!! Magic Magic and more magic….. Dear Samantha this was supposed to be us…. remember the franklins was our marriage GOALS!!!!!!!!!!!! Smiling smiling……. I’m gonna get her back watch me! [ I think ].”

10. He Claimed He Married Ex-Wife Norma To Keep Her In The U.S.

This story made us facepalm then and still does to this day. In his first interview following a judge’s 2017 ruling, where he’d get joint custody of his daughter Shayla, Tyrese claimed part of the reason he married his ex-wife Norma was because she was a Londoner expecting their child. As explained, he didn’t want to have to travel to the U.K. every time he needed to see their child after Shayla’s birth in 2007.
