Because Chris told us that he had been abstaining from sex and self pleasure for the past couple of weeks, it was clear to see that perhaps he wasn’t being entirely honest when he shared his intentions for sleeping with Paige, despite not being attracted to her. He told his parents that he was hoping the sex would strengthen the attraction. I think the truth is closer to Paige was there and provided a release for him.
Chris’ father tried to say that he raised a gentleman and commended him for being honest with Paige about his feelings. But the honesty came after her got what he wanted. And there’s nothing chivalrous about that. It was manipulative. Thankfully, to his family’s credit, his father did tell him not to hurt her. Good luck.
