Drake and…Summer Walker
Drake is a fan fan of Summer Walker. They initially got into contact after he hit her DMs.
“[I] think he slid into the DMs and was like, ‘I saw your video on a bowling alley monitor. Thought it was cool,'” she recounted.
The two would end up collaborating on a remix of her song “Girls Need Love.” The DMs didn’t stop there, though. When she released her debut album Over It, he hit her messages to send her a wealth of blown mind emojis and call her a “fun girl,” saying her work inspired him to write some new music. She responded by saying it was “crazy” that he would be inspired by her.
