A few commenters said that people had quite the misconception when it came to LisaRaye’s role in the Turks and Caicos.
“At the end of the day, Lisa Raye was PAID by the Turks and Caicos government for her promotions of the islands, let her TALK THAT,” a commenter on YouTube stated. “I don’t hate her but she is misleading the media as if it all came out of the goodness of her heart of being ‘First Lady’ at that time. The promotion she speaks of wasn’t free. The Music Festival Paid for by the government, Film Fest Paid for by the government. We appreciate the ‘discount’ you negotiated.”
