Every year, we spend hundreds paying a professional to do our taxes for us. Some individuals do need to do that, as their taxes are complicated. But some have rather simple taxes, and are just intimidated by the process, so afraid that one mistake on one form could result in an audit or a missed deduction. So take a tax prep class, and get comfortable with the process. You may still get to use those skills for your 2019 return, since the filing deadline has been extended.
