Books or anything to keep you entertained besides your phone

Like I mentioned, as much as you may be feeling brave and empowered (as you should because delivering a baby is a big deal), you’re probably not going to be up to getting through too many chapters of Michelle Obama’s “Becoming.” (Shout out to the mamas completing their senior thesis in between contractions, and even Supacent who finalized a whole business deal right before her daughter made her entry into the world.) However, it’s OK if all you want to do is sleep after giving birth or complain between each contraction. Trust, me once you have the pitter patter of little feet running through your house, even light reading will be a challenge. You might as well prepare yourself now.
