“When Cam introduced me to this industry, he told me he didn’t want guys putting their arm around me when I take pictures with fans because people can look at that and think something is going on or try to attach me to the person. I understood that. I’m like, ‘Cool, say no more. I don’t have to question you about why you’re saying that. You’re my man, I’m going to respect that.’ And that was it. Promoters who promote with me, they already know. Some of them made fun of me. ‘Don’t put your arm around JuJu! He don’t play that’ type thing. That’s what my man said, that’s what it is. When I’m telling you, don’t like these chicks showing their a– or don’t follow such and such, you don’t like me to follow certain people either, so don’t make it seem like it was a one-sided thing. That wasn’t the reason we separated. It was more of like, why can’t I be part of what you’ve got going on? You’re going out with the same circle of people you’ve been going out with, but the only one left out is me. So how does that make me feel? The same chicks going, same entourage going, but ‘Nah, you can’t go. You gotta stay home.’ It was just escalating and I felt like, ‘If you don’t want to be with me, just say so.’ I would rather save the friendship, and that’s what we were trying to do until that whole blowup that happened online, and I was just like, I don’t want to be friends no more.”
