Leave it to the first lady to keep us guessing–and sweating–her summer style. This time, we love the pop of blue polish on her toes as she arrived from Camp David back in DC for the 4th of July weekend.
Madame Michelle knows her blue polish. A few weeks ago while shaking hands with military personnel and their families at Camp Pendleton north of San Diego, she stopped in her tracks as she saw a little girl in the crowd with bright blue nails, NBC San Diego reports.
“I know the name of that fingernail polish!” Mrs. Obama told 8-year old Jolie Lippencott.
Jolie smiled, “You do?”
“Of course! It’s called Cattitude!” said Mrs. Obama referring to the “What’s with the Cattitude” color on Jolie’s nails. The color is from OPI’s Shrek Forever After Brights collection.
Back in DC for the 4th, Michelle kept her outfit simple with a white tank, patterned green skirt and open toe flats. She accessorized with a bunch of bangles and a lime green canvas tote.
